Looking forward to your next blog but I do understand about the dreaded word - BILLS. As for JD, I know from experience that "HE" doesnt always know the andwers. I wish you and your "hubby" the best. 3151 days ago

Morticia, I never pay the bills I just accrue them. One day I hope he will teach me how he does it.
He is very meticulous. Now we are in our "Golden years", since we need Gold to survive it seems. I think he is thinking he is not doing it right when I offer. So I too have a stumbling block, it's not the math it is his organisational skills that I lack. It's a trade off he is pretty much useless in the kitchen. He loves my cooking, I love his bill paying. Consequently we never get to rocking the boat. Just the (don't go there girl) Pat in Maine. . for sure! 3151 days ago

I know that I am a very visual person and it takes me a few times to actually sit down with someone at my side to teach me how to learn something new.
Worst thing about it is, if I didn't do it everyday for a while I would never remember it. I mean, you should have seen all the notes I took when I went back to business school to learn how to use computers, ect. It was like taking a 2-year college course in one year.
So I can only imagine what your dear hubby is going through especially after all the difficulties in handling his late mother's "mess", for lack of a better word.
Don't drink that Jack Daniels yet. You may want to drink it after you do the bills!
