Yesterday we discovered that our land line phone was out of service so my son and I spent some time analyzing the problem and getting it reported to AT&T. The neighbors were without a phone as well. The serviceman made it out in the afternoon and got it fixed.
I had to make my grocery list yesterday morning and go do my errands. I only had to go to the post office, newspaper office, Aldis, Kroger, and Wal-mart. I came home and my son helped me put the food away and then we had lunch.
I made supper later and then helped hubby learn to pay bills. I don't pretend to understand how men think but I know they don't think like women. Hubby questions everything. Testosterone must have a direct link to questioning of authority, not that I have any authority around here. "Why do you have to write the check in the check register?" "Why do you have to send a copy of the bill in the envelope- why can't you just send the check? They only want the money anyway." Why? Why? Why? It's like having a 2-3 year old again. LOL. I was semi-patient. It's not something that comes naturally to a former head nurse/supervisor.
The newspaper is publishing our bald eagle picture.
My son went to taekwondo today and had a work related meeting late in the evening about the upcoming holidays.
