and a Happy New Year!

The New Year is already well under way.
Last year was a productive year, and I feel I was blessed with many things. I finished grad school, got my Masters Degree, ran my first 5K, started my 7th year as a teacher, got pregnant, and we were able to make some good financial decisions.

2012 will be a better year- all around I think. My health needs to be a top priority, but I can't really make weight related goals at this point. I think post baby, first goal will be to get back to pre-preggo weight. Sounds easy enough emoticon

Fitness, my goal is to stay active. I don't care how, but I was thinking I just get more and more active every year- but looking at my Spark America stats- I was wrong!

I am slowly doing less and less! (No wonder the weight slowly keeps creeping on!) So, I think I need a goal of 10000 minutes. That would be about 30 minutes a day. Which is my goal anyway. Even when there are days where I don't meet that, I have other days where I go over. I might sign up for that 5K again this year (it is about 2-3 months post baby), I can walk it if need be. Fitness will be my key to staying healthy and keeping up with the new baby.

I don't make resolutions, but I feel confident about this goal. Happy News Years to you all. Do you make resolutions or goals? What are you going to do in 2012?
