I can honestly say that my my new intention to journal my food has nothing to do with New Years Resolutions. I never make them. I think they are beyond rediculous. I used to do them, many years ago. But like everyone else, found myself just putting them to the side after a few weeks of dedication. So this current commitment to journaling my food is a desire to look for patterns in my eating habits. I am curious to see what is going on in my life. I think i eat at work out of sheer habit and i am hopeful that the journaling will open up a few windows. Also, i want to figure out some strategies to improving the overall quality of the food i eat, so i believe that journaling will give me the best opportunity to see where i am making bad choices and where i am making good ones. Hopefully i can use the good times to apply to the bad times. Build upon success. Also, i want to see what my stress and health and mood contribute to my choices. So, week one, just journalling. nothing else. Also, i am using the new and improved Spark app on my Android phone. I am really excited about that.
