Day 2; 2lbs down

Well today started off with the loss of 2 lbs. Keeping track of the calories is enlightening to say the least. Until you jot things down you really have no idea how many calories you really consume. One of my problems has been and continues to be feeling full. It's like I have a broken gage. I've tried drinking water before I eat, I've tried waiting 20 minutes after I have eaten a reasonable amount of food but still I don't feel full. I think I need to work on being in touch with the feeling of simply not being hungry, because my sense of full comes when I'm miserable and over full. Perhaps that is what "full" truly is: a lack of hunger; not pass me the alka seltzer!
In any case I walked for an hour today and felt very good. Cold front came in tonight so I won't be walking outside tomorrow, but I have a walking workout "Walk away the lbs" with Leslie Sansone. I would love to try Zumba but with my bionic spine, all screwed into my pelvis I'm not too sure I can even move my hips like that anymore! LOL!!
God, I LOVE getting old!! Overall...a pretty good day.
