What are YOU doing to get in shape in 2012?

I can't believe that it is already January 10th. So much has happened already this year. I have already fallen behind in school, and done poorly on an exam, but I got a fresh start and today I have already accomplished much studying.

In any case, I am determined to make 2012 a healthy year, despite being in medical school. I really slacked off from August to December, my first semester in med school. I gained weight and fell back into my days of macaroni and cheese and canned ravioli.

But so far this year, I have been doing better. I have actually managed to record everything I have eaten since January 27th on myfitnesspal.com. Which if you haven't joined yet, you should strongly consider because the community there is really great at keeping you accountable.

AND I started Insanity of December 27th and have stuck with it! Which is HUGE for me. I have not let my med school studies get in the way of my health. I want to teach health AND be health.

    I am taking part in a sundown fast for 21 days. I am believing the Lord can & will show me my faults. Also, to believe that I can (with the Lord) eat healthier & tone down on my working out hard everyday.
