Failure...I think not

Don't be afraid to fail. Don't waste energy trying to cover up failure. Learn from your failures and go on to the next challenge. It's OK to fail. If you're not failing, you're not growing."
~Anne Sullivan
I'll Admit it..the last few weeks haven't been all the easy..but they haven't been all that hard either. I have hit some bumps in the road but I am not going to let that stop me. I am committed to changing my life for the better and I know its not always going to be a walk in the park but I am prepared to push through anything that tries to get in my way.
Last night I went out for "a drink" with one of my besties..before I knew it 1 drink turned to 2..2 turned to 3..3 turned to 4...all those empty calories! What was I thinking? I was thinking I need a break..I need to relax...I work 6 days a week, have a husband and 3 beautiful children but I needed some time for myself. It was supposed to be just 1 drink! But we were having so much fun. Do I regret it today...Im not gonna lie..i definitely regret having that much to drink..but you know what I had so much FUN! Last night was a hurdle I had to jump over..I am not going to let last night affect the rest of my week.
I got up and weighed myself this morning..down just about 10 lbs(9.6 to be exact!) That is a total of 17lbs so far! I couldn't be happier with the results. I have proved to myself that commitment and determination definitely pay off...however..I am still frustrated! Im frustrated that people try to get me to "cheat" on the regular and if I say no they keep asking me...HELLO can't they see I am trying to make a change? I want to bea better person, a better wife, a better mother and this is the change I need! The other thing that frustrates me is that I feel like noone is actually noticing my hard work...I can see that i have lost weight..can anyone else? These frustrations only add to my motivation!
I just need to remember..change doesn't happen over night...there are going to be alot of challenges along the way and I just need to rise above them..and if I fail i just need to continue on and don't let it hold me back!
~The most important thing to remember is this: To be ready at any moment to give up what you are for what you might become.
