Habit One: Add More Variety to My Meals
Today I have turkey meatballs (Spark Cookbook) and whole wheat pasta for lunch. I'm changing up and exchanging a grapefruit for the usual apple.
Habit Two: Exercise Earlier in the Day
I had 2 preps this morning so I have done 45 minutes of exercise already and it's only 11 o'clock!
New Habit Three: Better Quality Sleep
I had a good sleep last night. I only woke up once. (those darned hot flashes!) I've been cutting down on my coffee consumption and I think it's making a difference in the flash department.
Bonus Habit Improvement: 8 Glasses a Day
I am a little behind schedule in water consumption today but I'm filling my bottle as soon as I finish this blog.
All in all I think the blogging is keeping these habits in the front of my head instead of lurking in the back where they usually hide. I make conscious decisions to ensure I follow through with the new habits. I might just have to keep blogging, at least until 21 days have passed and they are truly ingrained as habits.
