A letter to myself

29 Jan 2012
This is a letter to you from you.
I want to let you know that you are beautiful despite what you have heard all your life. You were a large baby by the standards of 1966. At 22" long and 10.5 # you were very quick to be born. You grew into a sturdy little girl and then into a gangly young lady. At the age of 12 you had hit your current height of 5'8" and the weight of 125. Other than your mother you are the shortest in your family. You were athletic and enjoyed most sports but were told by coaches that you were to short for sports such as basketball and volleyball and too tall for sports such as gymnastics and ice skating. Fortunately you found running as an outlet and ran to relax and get away from the worries of being a teenager in the '80's.
In the late '80's you got married and became a mother with your last bebe' born in 92. After a few medical issues you managed to find running once again and lost it when life got in the way.
On 24 Jan 2012 when you started your Spark journey you weighed 166 pounds. You have set as your goal 135 pounds. You can do this. I have every faith in you. Have fun with it and making life changing habits.
This is your year my sweet beautiful self. You have found your anam cara and you are finding your passion for running and life once again. 2012 is your year. Own it and you will see what others have recently told you.
You are beautiful and graceful, loving and giving. Always keep a smile nearby and life as you would like it will fall into place.
Always with love and smiles~
