P90X2 day 1 and 2

I've been MIA from my exercise routine for the last couple weeks and my weight is showing in it. Feeling sluggish and fat yesterday i decided to grab my shoes and kick my own butt with the start of P90X2. The schedule starts with the X2 Core video. It was easier than i thought it was going to be. However, it was still hard for me. There were a lot of the moves that i struggle with. My favorite move in the video so far are the balance poses. I don't know that i like the rumble roller at all, but hopefully that will change.

First time doing the X2 core workout I burnt 490 calories in 63 minutes. I had a max heart rate of 163 which is about 83% of my max however my average HR was 129, ~67% of max.

Today, after the Superbowl i will be doing plyocide. I haven't previewed this video either. I like the challenge of not knowing what i'm getting myself into.

Hooray Giants! And plyocide is complete. It was really tough. I had to pause to catch my breath at one point. Max HR 179, average 141 calorie burn 532.

    Good job getting back to your routine. Just do it!
    I am looking forward to getting our P90X2 this week and getting started. It's my first program although we have been doing a few dvd's of P90X that we borrowed from a friend. Then we decided to just buy the newer version. Hope you keep it up!
