3C chickpeas, pulse-chopped in food processor
1C pecans plus 1/2C sunflower seeds, pulsed in food processor until finely chopped
1/4C whole golden flax seeds1 can pumpkin puree
cinnamon and sweetener of choice to taste fold together, taste to be sure you like spice/sweetness,
spread on lined dehydrator trays and dry at 105 until thouroughly dried and crunchy/crumbly
***This recipe is very, very adaptable. And the results are AMAZING!! No one will ever know there are chickpeas in there.
I just made a batch for my family with apples, bananas, oats, dates, almonds, chickpeas, a little flax meal and a little maple syrup. My cereal loving child is going to be thrilled!
