While I am just getting back on track, I am going to take a moment to pat myself on the back. Early last year I reached 258 then jumped off the wagon. By New Year’s Eve I was up to 282 and am now back down to 271. I am heading in the right direction and that is good. It seems like I am gaining or losing, no standing still. Without question I am more likely to make good choice when I am keeping track of what I eat. For some reason I have more positive will power when I look at the situation in larger terms like weeks or at least days. When I make my choices one meal at a time it is easy to justify the extra calories.
Someday I hope to reach the point where I make good decisions bite by bite. For now I am on track with the tools. One tool I tried and will not keep using at this point is a photo log. It just takes too much time. I will keep tracking my nutrition. –ttfn
