It's Monday and time for getting busy with school. I lost a pound this week so at least I am going in the right direction. I am feeling better about my progress and learning to accept things as they come. I just have to stay positive and focused.

    Yes, bingeing is a big bother! Since I started my blogging, I determined that I'd TRY to learn some valuable lessons. My latest (since there are so many) is that I would have been better served not to be upset that I wasn't losing weight fast enough....because this led to bingeing.
    SO, I'm happy for you that you are a pound less. Keep up the good work, be patient, and more will follow.

    Congratulations on your pound! You have the right attitude--positive and focused. As so many others have said, this is a way of life and journey. In order to make it "stick" you have to take it slow and focus on the process, not the scale. Make sure you have other non-scale measurements of success (ie measure your inches, increase in endurance, speed and strength, clothes feeling looser, feeling more energy) The scale is just one small way of measuring your increased health. I think our bodies are making all kinds of positive changes that are not reflected weekly in the scale. You can do it! emoticon
