Update on my "Cleanse" and nearing my first goal

An update to the "Cleanse" I started. I put quotes around it because when I think of a "Cleanse", I think of water or juice cleanses. That's not what I did. It is a 28 day green smoothie, raw lunch with a vegan dinner. Believe it or not, I found one on Whole Living. Yes, I know. It's Martha Stewart but it sounded reasonable and doable. The first week was all green smoothies and raw. And it went well. I did go through a little detox I think. Nothing major. I was a bit more regular and one day I was a bit low. But the biggest thing was, I wasn't ever hungry. In fact, I feel so full I find it hard to get in all my calories. I actually have to work on it. Now this girl, has never had trouble getting the calories down so it was a big thing. Was? Is. I had to eat a snack a bit ago because my calories weren't going to be in range. I am still losing weight. Slowly. Maybe .25 to .5 lb every day or 2. My pants are getting baggier.

The "Cleanse" calls for adding grains, legumes and more cooked meals. I am sticking to green smoothies for breakfast, my raw meal at lunch and a vegan meal for dinner. Or 5 meals out of 7.

And I have unofficially reached the 180's. I'm there, but just not enough for me to mark down. It's 189.3 and I want it to be rock solid. This means that I could, by the end of the week, be at my first goal. Which was to lose 10% of my body weight!!

WooHoo! First goal, here I come! And my reward, I am cutting my hair. Nothing drastic but it is way past due and I thought that was a good mileage marker so to speak. I'll do before and after.

I'm not mentioning my blood work. Nope. Going to keep on going. Right past it.
