Jake-The most amazing puppy ever! 11/30/11-03/31/12

This is Jake. What a Joy!!!!

He came to live with us on January 15th and quickly became one of the loves of my life!

He was so sweet natured.

He was definitely a Mama's Boy!

On Saturday, March 31st, he got run over in our driveway. It wasn't our neighbor's fault. Jake wasn't paying attention.

I am heartbroken.

I know he came into my life for a reason. And I don't understand the reason he was with us for such a short while. Maybe to prove to me that pitbulls are truly amazing, sweet, kind, and loving animals. Or maybe to show me I can love another dog. My oldest dog, BigUn, has congestive heart failure and each day I have with him is a blessing. I have been afraid when he dies, I won't be able to love another dog again. Man.....Jake proved me wrong.

I grieve for him and I smile with the sweet memories.

Jake, thank you for the love and kindness you brought to my life.
