Trip - Day Three

Not as much going on today which is nice, but I'm tired and sore from 90 minutes of ice skating. We walked in town afterwards for about 30 minutes too. Once back "home" Tim took the kids to the pool and I put dinner together. Tonight they may go back to the pool again, but I'm looking forward to some time just sitting and reading. Two more magazines to finish before I start my next book.
Tomorrow afternoon we are taking another bike ride near the lake from what I think I've heard in passing conversation. About 3:30 Maegann and I head back to the city for her Taekwondo test (a 2 hour drive each way) that she has to be ready for at 6:30. We won't head back this way until about 9 p.m. so it will be a long night for us. Just bad timing on the test day.
Not as many pictures today, but I did get the hubby to take a few on my phone for me.
Maegann getting ready to skate.
Isaac was having a blast. There was a little boy about his age that was practicing his hockey moves. Isaac's goal by the end of the afternoon was to make the "swooshing" sound with his skates as they scrape the ice. LOL
A posed photo of us all in one spot out on the ice. Just seconds later Isaac lost his balance and about took us all out with him.
Proof I was skating. LOL We all actually did much better this year and only hugged the wall for a couple laps before we were out there going faster on our own. Isaac figured out how to do stationary circles, I practiced some turns and Maegann just went fast.
