Trip - Day Four
Saturday, May 12, 2012
It's already heading towards 1 a.m. on Saturday but I'm still awake after the drive back on those windy mountain roads in the dark. Maegann and I spotted eight deer along the side of the road and three foxes. I was praying that God would keep those deer on the side of the road and not in the roadway. We had a fun drive down to Boise for her Taekwondo testing and she did great with the test and got her blue stripe. The Grand Master even came over to her after she had bowed out and told her she did an excellent job. We stopped for supper before leaving town and then hit the road.
Prior to that we did take a drive along the lake looking for a bike path but there was just a short one about 1/2 mile long. The roadway was just too dangerous for the kids to ride on. We enjoyed the short one and we drove halfway around the lake before the road was closed for uncleared snow (north end) and they got to play on a beach area.
Tomorrow we're heading to the skate park in the morning and there is another bike trail that starts there so we'll do that too. Hard to believe we're down to one more full day here!

Oh...I made pancakes (gluten and egg free) for breakfast trying a new flour blend and they were the best ever! Actually rose instead of being 1/8" flat little things.
And the hubby got a picture of us doing school this morning. Yep...I was sparking while they were doing math and writing!
