Still Stumped.

For those of you new to my blog, I've been having issues with my knees. I'm currently on prescription strength Ibuprofen to help with the inflammation and pain, and on Dr's orders to have minimal ambulation all for 2 weeks. The other day when I went in the Dr asked me to get some X-rays of my knees to check for osteoarthritis, because that's what he is/was thinking is going on.

I called last night for my test results and he said my X-Ray's came back normal. So that makes me happy that there is no apparent degeneration in my knees, but now I want to know what's going on with my knees! I'll finish the pills and minimal knee work for another week and a half, then try going on a family walk. If I get knee pain again I'll be on the phone with the Dr again to find out what my next step is. I'm wondering if I'll need either a knee brace (which I'm not looking forward to) or physical therapy, which would be my choice if offered. I'm ready to get off my butt and get healthy, but considering I need my knee to do most things I WANT to do I have to lay low.

Still working on getting the household organized while I wait for my knees to start behaving. Hoping this all works out for me!! Thanks to everyone who's been reading my blog and supporting me. It really is frustrating when I can't do the activity piece as easily as I was hoping, but you all make it easier to do!

I'm sure that's it. Since I started taking the Ibueprofen my knees have felt much better. But today I was shopping for a dress, and turned wrong in the fitting pain and knee popping all in one. My sister looked at me and knew by my face my knee was yelling at me. It was a short lived pain, but reminded me that I still need to take it easy. Hoping for a quick 2 weeks (week and a half now!)

emoticon on the x-ray results. You probably strained your knees and they just need some rest to recover,

Sorry to hear about your knees, I am going to suggest something, take it for what is is worth, check it out if wish. There is a Mexican all natural supplement called Reumofan Plus. My Uncle in California started taking it for his knee and shoulder pain (at 76 he is still an avid golfer!). He got my Mother (in a car accident 4 years ago, trouble with knees ever since) and another Uncle to start taking them. Both are either pain free or MUCH better. My cousin started taking it for her knees and swears by them also. Check them out on Ebay they contain Guasima, Holm Oak, Eastern Teaberry, Cancerina, Matarique, Shark Cartilage, White Willow, Glucosamine, Curcumin, Vitamin C, Vitamen E, Magnesium and calcium.

My mother just moved from the 3 story "family home" to a Ranch because of her knees. She did so well with the move that I told her if she had found these pills 6 months ago she would never have moved!
