Over doing it and getting frustrated!!!

So, two big parts of healthy living are fitness and diet...right. Not the only things, but two big parts. So, if you've been following me you know my knee is acting up. I was told by a Dr to take Ibueprofen and only ambulate as much as my knee will tolerate. That was fine, I gave up my nightly walk with the family in favor of chilling on the couch with my leg up. So now my fitness has been interrupted by my knee.
Yesterday I went to the store and took on my diet. I payed attention to my spark diet meal plans and added in the recipes for dinner the family chose for the week. Yesterday I bought all the food I needed, which filled my fridge with fruits and veggies and other healthy stuff. Then I spent the afternoon baking bread, making pizza, preparing my lunch and making salsa to eat through the week...I found to eat healthy for what I want it takes a lot of work. Today my knee is KILLING me! So my knee is now trying to take over my healthy eating plans. Grrrrrr. Can't wait for these two weeks to be over so I can go back to the Dr and tell him we need to try something different.
In positive news today, I averted soda disaster. I was sooooo tempted to pull into Sonic for a coke, I came so close but decided last minute to drive on by thinking of all the good food and snacks I would have to give up just for an hour of sugary drink. I miss my soda for now, but I'm sure that will go away soon.
