Getting Active...Slower than I'd like

So I'm on week three of the healthy family makeover challenge. We've been doing excellent until this week now I'm like a deer in the headlights. This week our challenge is to get active. Both parents and kids. This is great in theory, but with my bum knee and the scorching temps outside, I'm a bit confuzzled as to what to do with the kids!
I think we're going to have a dance party one night and I can dance sitting down and get up now and then to teach a new move to the kids (the two year old prefers to spin in circles, which is fine and dandy except for the heart attack she gives me every time with all the sharp furniture corners around, lol). Tonight hubs is grilling some chicken for us and hot dogs for the girls (as well as a bunch of veggie kabobs, fresh cut watermelon and maybe a salad to keep it all healthy). So that means we can get some outdoor playing going on. I'm going to talk to hubs to find out what we need to blow up the girl's swimming pool so we can get that out for some fun activities. For getting me active, I think I can manage Bocce ball if I stay off my feet as much as possible.
Once I'm back up and moving, it will be walks again and taking the girls to the playground while I do lunges up and down the side walk. It's amazing how stuck I got when my knee started to hurt! Hoping it's about healed now!! I can't take much more of this inactivity!
