update on my sil'S cancer. we took her to her doc appt and treatment today. not as good as we had hoped. the hormone treatment isn't working and there's a big spot on the liver now. she's going to have a different chemo from what she had before starting hormone treatment. chemo once a week for 3 weeks then off a week, with lots of side affects.

she was pretty surprised as she said she was feeling better with what they were doing,

one step forward and two steps back.

thanks for all your prayers.

one of the side affects is something to do with the nerves and dizziness.
just when she was allowed to drive and now this. geesh, she can't win. she did have the problem with constipation. ugh!! seems like you take one pill for something and it causes something else.

There really doesn't have to be a ton of side effects....Loss of hair sometimes cannot be helped and it's visual so,it hurts emotionally, but nausea and committing can be controlled much better with the new drugs they have...One thing that is very important is after taking the chemo is not to use rectal preparations, make sure you are not constipated, use soft pics for your teeth...not dental floss...no fresh flowers in the house and bottled water if your water is questionable....most infections post chemo come from within ourselves...oh and stay away from the mall or crowded places..includes houses of worship....
Lots of prayers coming your way..... emoticon
