Back into the wild - going unplugged for another week

Sunday, June 10, 2012

Alright sparkfriends - going unplugged starting today for a week as its that time of year again to take a week off for that annual summer tradition of chaperoning my son’s Boy Scout Troop to week-long Summer Camp – be back next week – in the meantime, I got lots of reading material while I am down there and the weather looks awesome.

I have a BIG goal of dropping 3 pounds this week - its kind of exciting in that I normally weigh-in each morning but this week I won't be able to until I get back. At camp, its a 1/2 mike uphill to the cafeteria, and about a 1/2 - 3/4 mile hike between any activities (between the shooting range, the waterfront, etc) so as long as I don't get stupid on the snacking, I ought to be able to drop a few pounds - I sure hope so

See you in a week - hope everyone reaches some small wins this weekend and builds a little momentum going into next week

Take care - B

YAYA! So much fun. As a previous camp counselor, you can really lose the weight from walking around camp. Have fun, stay healthy. Im heading out to the woods this weekend myself! emoticon

All that walking will help so curb the snacks and see
how it goes. I do hope you left the potato chips at home.

Breathe in that fresh air, obey Smokey, and most of all, guard your sleeping bag from being filled with slugs, wet leaves, sticks and itching powder!
Have a great time with the guys!
