Blogging away the weight: My New Normal

After these past few emotional and stressful weeks, I am excited to get back to normal! That is my new normal which consists of a minimum 30 minutes of exercise a day, eating healthy and tracking all of it. It's funny that this is now normal to me. Almost 6 months ago a healthy lifestyle was something I always wanted to do but never thought I could actually achieve it. I NEVER thought it would be a lifestyle I would be comfortable living. Now it's second nature to me.

Although I did take almost a month off from SP, it was probably the best thing that happened to me. During that time I started to feel uncomfortable and like something wasn't right. What was wrong with me? I was starting to live the way I use to but it didn't feel right anymore. Sitting around and eating fast food wasn't who I was anymore. I have become the active person who LOVES to exercise. I have become the person who prefers healthy home cooked meals over drive thru and take out. I crave fruits and veggies over french fries. I use to make fun of people who would say stuff like that but now I am one of them! Even though I have my moments where I just flat out fall down and just lose it. I start all over the next day and recommit myself to making better choices. So for the first time in 3 weeks I logged on to SP tracked my food and exercise and finally felt like my self again!!
