I'm back, I'm so sorry for not connecting with you yesterday. I had such a full day, a day filled with activities with my grandkids. They came at 7:30am and stayed until 8:00pm last night. Yes, a busy and full day. We had outdoor play, Canada Day Crafts, indoor play, building lego, puzzles, reading stories, watched a couple of kid's shows and went to 2 parks which the kids loved, they enjoyed playing on all the equippment and connecting with another Daycare group who invited the kids to enter in with their activities.
We also played at the Basket ball court with the grandkids kicking the soccor ball around the court, I was amazed at how fast Logan ran around the court, his sister almost got the ball through the net a couple of times.
My granddaughter met a friend who lives next door to me of the same age, they enjoyed playing at the park and also enjoyed making sidewalk art with the chalk. I took pictures of all the Canada Day crafts we did but with all the activity and busyness I forgot to get any of the grandkids, can you believe that???
My daughter called later in afternoon while Logan was napping and asked me to keep the kids over supper so she and hubby could go out, she said Darren would bring us dinner so I wouldn't have to cook, I said yes and they went out to spend some time together and I had supper with the grandkids and took them to the Park nearby until Lynn and Darren got back at 8.
By the time they went home I couldn't think of doing anything else but get ready for bed. I didn't track my food yesterday, however I tracked exercise and goals but did not huddle or connect with you :( Sorry about that...
I am in the process of huddling and have posted some blogs on our Team page. I will connect with you as much as I am able...Have a great day and enjoy your Holiday weekend, ours is tomorrow, Sunday July 1st celebrating Canada Day.
