Hello, I'm MaryAnn, and I'm a Yo-Yo Sparker

Yep; I started on SP waaaay back in October of 2008. And you know what? It worked! I lost a bit of weight, became healthier, and made some great friends.

I was dedicated; and because I was dedicated, it worked.

Then I wasn't so dedicated; I tried, but I strayed. And I gained some weight back. and I disappointed myself. I cycled like this for a while. Back and forth, back and forth.

Then I really p*ssed myself off and just said *(*!@#@# it and gave up Sparking completely. No need to wonder what happened there. (Along with disappointing myself yet again).

I'm tired of yo-yo-ing. I want to try again. And I want to succeed. I need to have faith in myself and show up. I'm ready. I know what I have to do: I need to log, and blog, and move.

The glitch? I broke my foot last week. This will definitely put a crimp in my working out. That means I really need to keep my eating in line. And I'll have to get creative with moving. *Sigh*

I'm not going to start whining; I'm just going to do what I have to do.

    HUGS! I'm sorry about the foot--- by now... you should be getting there? (not sure how larger the fracture is)---- but you know what my suggetion will be-lol- get in the pool!

    So sorry to hear about your foot! Maybe you could try building on good habits by focusing on drinking water, getting enough sleep, and eating fewer refined foods no, and add activity when you're able? In my experience, "all of nothign" ends up being nothing, but building on good choices can help build momentum.
