First Week

I'm well into my first week of the Visalus challenge and have had a down but mostly ups. I still have to figure out a good way to beat the hunger for good. For now, I am using pumpkin in my morning shakes. It seems to work good and only adds 40 calories. Now for the goods. I have a lot more energy and went out and bought myself a new bike this weekend. It's awesome because it's like the one I had when I was a kid. It's single speed and you pedal back to brake. I never got the hang of speeds and handle brakes. I brought it home Saturday evening and went on 4 rides by Sunday night. Needless to say, I'm a little sore. Today, I'm planning on working out with Eric so we will see how that goes. I might sneak a bike ride in when I get home. All in all, I'm pumped about this challenge and looking forward to see where it takes me.
