No Sunday Paper

This is dedicated to all of us who ARE Seniors, to all of you who KNOW Seniors, and to all of you who will BECOME seniors.
"Where is my Sunday Paper?!?!"
The irate customer calling the newspaper office, loudly demanded to know where her Sunday edition was.
"Madam," said the newspaper employee, "today is Saturday. The Sunday paper is not delivered until tomorrow, on SUNDAY."
There was quite a long pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition as she was heard to mutter.........
"Well s_ _ _!!!!!! That explains why no one was at church either."
This little story reminded me of an incident that happened when our oldest son was about 5 years old and I was especially busy teaching full-time, had just had our second son, and had many other irons in the fire too. I got up on a Sunday morning, made breakfast for Jason and got him ready for church, fed the baby, and jumped in the car to head out. We sat in our usual spot in the back of the church (in case the baby cried) and settled in for the first hymn. The congregation started to sing, and I couldn't figure out why they were singing the closing hymn instead of the first one listed in the bulletin. At the end of the hymn, they began to file out and I thought, "What is going on?", when one of my friends leaned over the pew and said, "Did you forget that it was Daylight Savings Time?" I did!!!!! We were an hour late!!!!!
