Can someone please tell me why I thought it was a good idea?

I've "kind of" rejoined the workforce this summer.
My husband's business doing the best that it has since the economy went to poop 5 years ago...which is awesome. Which also means that he's been getting slammed with "extra" work (repairs and such), which is not so awesome. Don't get me wrong...money is always a good thing. BUT...our employees are already pretty much maxed out with their regular routes, and aren't really available to pick up my Hub's slack while he's off doing the extra work. SO...we had the brilliant idea that I would be a "rider" for him as needed to free up a little time for repairs and extra work. Which truly was a good idea, for the business. For me personally, not so much. I have found that I truly, truly, truly hate Florida in the summertime. Truly. :)
Pros:
--really tan
--spending kid-free adult time with my Hub
--extra $$
--feel useful again
--GREAT cardio
Cons:
--Crazy hot.
--Crazy humid.
--Boss is a douche (HA!)
--I don't actually pull a check (just makes me feel less guilty about the $$ I spend)
--messes with my gym time
--Did I mention crazy hot and humid already??
Really...it's not that bad. I might ride with him 3-4 days a month, if that. A lot of the other help I'm providing is "easy" stuff like scoping out repairs and giving quotes, which is SO not taxing. But I just got home from a day of "riding", and I'm hot, tired, and just had to tear the behind out of two Hot Pockets because the HEALTHY ready-to-eat food fairy skipped my house this week. I think I might feel better once my craptastic hot pockets lunch digests and hits my bloodstream (SOOOO hungry!!). :) Thanks for listening to my whine. :)
Happy Friday!!
