Thought I'd do the low carb thing....AGAIN.

Whenever I stay in the 1200 to 1300 calorie range and eat 3 forms of bread a day, I gain. Yeah, I know they say its impossible to gain on those calories, but it appears I do. So for the last 4 days I've decided to eat lots of vegs for my carbs and no wheat or sugar. I swear I could live on tomatoes. I don't plan to be doing this for more than 2 weeks. I just needed a kick start.

    Yes, I am the same. I have to make sure that if I eat bread or any grain product, that I only do it for one meal. Otherwise the same thing happens to me. Unfortunately the only time I feel really satisfied is with some whole grain bread or oatmeal. It's been hard to cut it out for 2 meals per day. I hear you!!

    It's not a bad idea, especially if you're addicted to any of those foods. Remember to add them back in gradually, though!! I'm doing the same thing with the no wheat and no sugar... except that I'm not quite as good at it. haha.

    Carbs slow me down or make me bounce, also. Especially white flour, white potatoes, and white rice. I still eat them in moderation, but I try to limit them to no more than one a day. I should probably limit them to 2-3 per week.
