Swimming in Success: Days 38-47 of 730 Til 30

730 Days ‘Til 30…A countdown to lose 230 lbs over the next two years to achieve my goal weight before I turn 30.

I finally had a breakthrough of weight loss! Most of this is not due to anything I’ve done…I’ve been very slothlike due to the 90+ week we’ve had here in Oregon. However, this means I’ve not wanted to eat much so I haven’t been taking in many calories…also I’ve been sweating a lot in the last week. Irregardless, I lost FOUR POUNDS!!

This week I get paid so I can stock up on some more freggies. I’ve previously been trying to plan something new and exciting for every meal, 7 days a week, which is also healthy. However, I’m not sticking to it because I don’t want to make three gourmet meals every single day. So, I’m going back to my copycat meals for breakfast, lunch and snack, and then varying dinner. This has worked for me in the past and I hope it will be successful again.

Friday evening, my family went to the pool and I was transformed. I know how much I love to swim, yet I have been fighting a walking regiment. So instead, I’ve decided to start swimming 3 days a week. I can burn three times as many calories in the same amount of time doing something I actually like.

Life is starting to look up again. Fall is almost here and it is by far my favorite season, leaving all the others in the dust!

Take a walk (pool’s closed)
Read my Bible
