Huzzah! I stopped off at the library to type this blog. Kind of feeling like a high schooler again.
A is for ABOVE and BEYOND...Does competition push you? Yes, I've especially noticed that since I started running in races. However, impossible competition doesn't motivate me so much.
B is for BLC rounds... Goldie! I've been with the Pixies since BLC15, and I was in the Amazon Warriors one round before that
C is for CHILDREN...you have? None
D is for DOWNFALL...what's your biggest temptation? Using food as a reward
E is for EARLY Bird or Night Owl? Erm...maybe Early Owl? I like being up early, and I have to be up early for work often, but I also like staying up late-ish.
F is for FURRY FRIENDS...you have? Um, well, the other day I discovered that either an avocado or an apple had escaped from my grocery bag without me realizing it...but I wouldn't call it a friend.
G is for GROCERIES...what do you fill your cart with? 90% stuff from around the perimeter of the store (NOT including the bakery). 10% other stuff. Tofu with ponzu sauce is my guilty pleasure! Yum!
H is for HOME...what state do you call home? I live in Hokkaido, Japan (way up at the top of Japan). I can see Russia on a clear day. I can see Russians on many days. I can't speak Russian, but sometimes they try anyway.
I is for INSPIRE...who or what is your role model/inspiration? The Pixies are my role models! I see pixies doing different amazing feats and I think, "Hey, I can step it up, too!"
J is for JOB...What do you do for a living? I'm an Assistant Language Teacher, so I visit ongoing English classes in 11 public schools in my district (elementary-high school). My schools are anywhere from a 20 minute walk to a 2 hour ferry ride away. I really like the variety in my job, and I love traveling by train or ferry to get to school.
K is for KEEP IT SIMPLE...What's your focus when short on time? Run!
L is for LOG...Do you use the Nutrition and Fitness trackers? Sometimes. This round, I want to do better about using the Fitness Tracker, because having fitness already logged makes life so much easier when it comes to adding up the minutes at the end of the week. I hate nutrition tracking, but I do want to do it at least sometimes.
M is for MARRIED, Single, Involved? Single. Very single. At least I can enjoy eating a block of tofu for dinner if I want. I have to look on the bright side.
N is for NAME...What's the meaning behind your sparkname? I am Eliz(abeth) in Japan. :)
O is for OUNCES...How many ounces of water do you consume on a daily basis?
P is for PRODUCE...How many fruits and veggies do you consume daily? Some days, maybe 1 or 2. Some days, a bazillion.
Q is for QUOTE...what's your favorite? I saw this on a signature line somewhere. "The best time to plant a tree was 10 years ago. The second best time is today."
R is for ROUTINE...Average number of days and minutes you exercise weekly? 4 days a week, a variety of minutes
S is for STATURE...How tall are you? 5'7"
T is for TIME...What time zone are you in? Japan Standard Time
U is for UNWIND...What is your favorite pass time or hobby? Running!
OK, Auld Lang Syne is playing, which means I have to leave the library. I'm going to answer the last questions as fast as I can!
V is for VACATION...If you could travel anywhere, what destination would you choose?
W is for WEIGHT WORKOUT...Do you follow a consistent ST program? Yes! My gym designed a program for me. Some days I like it, some days...well...
X is for "X" MARKS THE SPOT...What do you want to see happen these 12 weeks, other than the scale move? I want to change my attitudes about food and weight.
Y is for YESTERDAY...Do you dwell on poor choices or allow them to push you forward? D.W.E.L.L. But I think I'm getting better.
Z is for ZERO...name one weight loss tool you couldn't live without? Spark People! Love my Pixie friends!
