Everything you eat gets broken down into either amino acids (protein precursors), or glucose (sugar), which your body uses for fuel. However, surges in blood sugar can damage the collagen in your skin (leading to wrinkles) and cause inflammation (which can aggravate acne and rashes). So fight aging by watching your sugar intake. Fructose (the sugar in fruit) speeds up the aging process even faster than glucose, so at least avoid high-fructose corn syrup (often found in sodas, salad dressings, and ketchup), as well as high-fructose fruits, like pears and apples, or at least have them with some nuts or other protein.

    I am so disgusted with how much is being pumped with HFCS, I saw chicken breast the other day pumped/injected with a solution that contained it....eeks!
    Thanks for my vanity reminder and why to continue my sugar and HFCS free diet :-D
