Basket Auction results

Wednesday, September 12, 2012

We had the Family Promise basket auction Saturday night. We had a pretty good turnout considering we had a horrible storm (same storm that caused tornados in NYC that evening). We don't have all proceeds in as yet, but to date we have made $7,832.00.
I know I told some of you I would post pictures of baskets, so here are a few of them. This a basket I did and you can see there are others in my living room waiting to go.
I'm not real technically proficient at posting photos so I may have to see if they come up when I post this blog. I'll try again if not. My apologies for them being so out of order. The tables are from the actual basket auction. We had 105 baskets plus door prizes and both silent and live auction items. I made a cupcake carries etc basket. The other one pictured is a bird feeder basket. I also made a fitness basket and put the SP 28 day boot camp video in it. Some of the other shots are groups of baskets in my living room. As we made them we stored them there. It took me two days to clean up after the auction but I can see both my living room and my kitchen now! It was a lot of work but it was worth it for such a worthy cause. We had a lot of fun together making them.

    Wow, Kathy!

You raised over seven thousand dollars! That is quite an accomplishment!

You showed just how focused you can be when you are working towards a specific goal....what is your new goal?

A woman as creative as you are has to have another project in mind!
