Creative Writing 101 - On to Victory

The next twelve weeks are going to be awesome! Fall is my favorite time of year, and I'm looking forward to soaking it in.

Food: For the next 12 weeks, I'd really like to focus on eating real food and hydrating. I want to be in good condition for my upcoming races, and I'd like my skin to look good when I go home for Christmas. I think real food and plenty of water will help me achieve my goals.

I do the bulk of my shopping on the weekend or on Monday nights. I'll continue this and work on some meal planning on Fridays. I'm not good at meal planning and sticking to plans, so this will be one of my BLC20 skills.

September:
I will run three times a week (outside at least once, if not more). I'd like to make my mornings more fun, so I'm going to work on getting up just 10 minutes earlier. September 30 is my first half marathon! I'm still recovering from a knee injury, so I'm really not sure how it's going to go. My big goal is simply to finish the race in the time limit of 3 hours.

October:
In October, I want to focus half on running, and half on strength training. My racing season will end after 10/7. We'll probably have nice weather for the rest of the month, though, so I want to do lots of outdoor runs while I can. I plan to run about twice a week, and strength train at least 3x a week. I won't have any scheduling conflicts with step aerobics or Zumba, so I'm looking forward to participating in those classes as well.

November:
November brings ice and NaNoWriMo! For those of you not in the know, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Simply, it's a time where people all over the world attempt to write a novel (or 50,000 words) in one month. It's super fun, and super intense, and I love it. If you've ever wanted to write a novel, let this be your excuse to finally put that pen to paper. That said, life gets a little crazy in November. In November, I will focus on gym classes and strength training, with occasional runs just to keep myself in running shape.

December:
BLC20 ends somewhat early in December, but I still have some goals. I want to spend as much time in the gym as possible, because with the short days, this delicate flower is going to need some light and music.
