I had a good day re exercise. I played pickleball for an hour and followed it with an hour on my bike. Tonight I plan on doing nothing more than walking the dog.
I am doing better with food. I decided to eliminate "sugar" with includes things like honey and syrup. I will still eat sweets but only things that will not cause my blood sugar to spike. I have often wanted to eat when I was not hungry and really didn't have any food that I wanted. I would stand at the fridge and try to find something that sounded good enough to eat because I really wanted something, anything to eat. Since I decided to give up sugar a couple of weeks ago, I find this is gone. I still like to eat but I want to eat when something is appealing or I need food not just because. This lack of desire to eat for no reason is making the food side of losing weight much easier.
We are leaving mid day Thursday for NC and things are coming together well. I tend to be organized and have my list all done and am checking off items each day. It is going to be a great trip.
