The assessment this morning went well, but was not what I expected at all. Instead of being an observation assessment, it was questions for me about all aspects of Isaac's life. Now we wait while the answers are put into a computer to print out the results. Evidently they look for those with 50% or lower for approvals. Not sure where we'll fall.

After lunch we headed over to my friends to do our bi-weekly cleaning. She said she'll get some more freedom to be moving in November. They have scheduled a c-section for the end of November if she can make it that long.

We then ran a couple quick errands on the way home. Once home I got the lawn mowing finished as I hadn't done it before my weekend to Portland and it definitely needed done before we leave for CO on Thursday.

Next came making homemade pizza for dinner. After the boys left for Taekwondo I got the receipts updated and emails for co-op taken care of. This will leave tomorrow clear for a last load of laundry and packing suitcases.

Tomorrow's schedule:
*gym
*laundry
*school
*pack
*Bible study

We'll be heading out at 4 a.m. on Thursday. UGH! We also have to take the hounds with us this time as our sitter is also out of town. Just makes the day about an hour longer on the road (12 instead of 11) and added responsibility while gone.

Many behavioral, academic, and psychological assessments are driven by parent interviews because they are the ones who know the child the best. Even more sophisticated testing with scored forms and different sub-tests contain a parent interview. You are contributing important data from an expert's experience and observations. This will help with the results and you will have done Isaac a real service. I'm glad that you are comfortable with the way things went.
Keep up all of the good work!

I assume the longer time for traveling is for potty breaks for the hounds.

It should be interesting how Isaac did on the assessment from your answers. That was a surprise for you!
