This has been a wonderful week. My son and his girlfriend became engaged on Wednesday! I am so thrilled! No date has been set yet, but it's still pretty early for that. It is a bit surreal though, my baby getting married! She is really good for him, seems to ground him, rather than push his buttons, which is awesome!

This week we are getting my son's car back on the road. That means no more taxi service. I can't wait! It's been a long couple of months driving him and my wonderful little granddaughter all over the place. To be fair, it's only been when he has her that he has asked for help with transportation. He has a bicycle, and has been riding that back and forth to work, and his fiance has been helping in the mornings by doing the daycare run. Fiance, how cool to type that!

The weekend has been good. Birthday party and chores yesterday, today should be fairly calm. I have to continue doing laundry and do some more chores, but they are not the daily things, they are bigger. Like clean things out of the garage so that I can park my car in it. Cleaning up the toy room, getting rid of some of the things that need to go to goodwill.
