With all the huge storms that are brewing I thought this was a good reminder. Praying for all those in the path of the one on the East coast.
Today was busy! Was at church from 9-12 and then I took Maegann to lunch at Subway as we needed to be back to the church around 1 to help set up for the Harvest Festival. She was working with the Mission Council (they were assisting with the skit the teens were doing) and I was helping our Sunday School class with the hot dogs. We finally left about 5 p.m. as much of our stuff was cleaned up and we were there longer than we were signed up to be. Needless to say, after two days of very full schedules I am so tired. Tomorrow is co-op so I am planning on a long nap after that is done! I'm making tacos so dinner won't be much to do either.
Here are some photos of the day.
Isaac came as a Ghost Pirate. I never did see him in anything other than a t-shirt, jeans and bare feet though. Tim said he wore the costume all the way to church and then took it off at the registration line. He had a great time and actually played in the bouncy houses for 3 hours!
The trunk or treat area was beginning to get in place
This is a photo of a sweet lady from Bible study. She was so excited to have a trunk for the very first time.
This was my view from the hot dog table. I was in charge of the condiment table. I kept it spotless and the line moving right along.
They had a couple tractors doing hayrides around the grounds. Looked fun!
And of course the bouncy houses and slides!
