Kitt's New Normal

I heard people using this term all the time now and it got me to thinking.....

I have a new normal, this is a list of my new normal

I eat a healthy breakfast everyday ....

I wake up and thank God for all my blessings, for giving me a strong body and a sharp mind. and every night I thank him for a good day.

I now eat for health, I now know food is fuel, not entertainment, not a stress relief, food is not good or bad, it is the only thing that fuels my body...it is not my friend nor a companion....

I now exercise most everyday, making my body strong and healthy.....

I now love myself no matter what the scale says....

I now can go into any store and buy clothes that look good on me....

I now walk a 5k everyday, twice a day if I want too, I can ride a bike , I can run if I want too, and best part I now want too..

There are a million new normals for me since I lost 200+ pounds, since I found Spark People, since I try and help other find there way to a better normal in their lives too....

take a few minutes and see what are your new healthy normals....

oh yea, one of my biggest new normal's is I don't eat fast foods , ever.....It has been over 6 years since I had fast foods....before spark people I ate there almost once a day.....I now eat 6-10 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables....live is so good
