Post Thanksgiving

Monday, November 26, 2012

I cooked dinner again this year and tried to sneak in low cal versions of family recipes. Everybody enjoyed the meal and of course we had enough leftover for the weekend and finished off with turkey soup yesterday. I did not loose any weight nor did I gain any, so I was happy. It's back to regular food and trying to tip the scale my way. I hope you had a great holiday too.

Gee, sorry this took so long. I saved your messagein my email, careful not to delete it so I could read it. Finally got to it. Been crazy busy. I can't believe it's about Thanksgiving. I've been slacking on my friends. Glad you didn't gain and had a nice time.

It's really not too hard to change to lower fat foods so long as they don't see you do it. People usually concentrate so much on talking that they don't notice the little differences that actually do make a big difference. Glad you had a great day.

    Hi Karen,

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving. I cooked the turkeys here plus mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. Pot luck for the rest of the meal. I was totally exhausted and told people I won't be doing it again. My arm is killing me but everyone got fed and went home happy.

I didn't gain or lose anything either so it was good. I didn't eat much and only had a small piece of pumpkin pie and was stuffed.
