Talk about a lazy day! I do believe I am more tired this evening just because I did so little!

Began the day by being up at the same time as usual, but was just waiting around to take the dogs to the vet for their dentals. So I checked email and did some sparking. At that hour of the day... a rare occurance for me and a Spark Friend even noticed. Once I got home I had breakfast and then got school done with the kids. Decided I really didn't like what I had planned for lunch so we headed down the street to Subway. Enjoyed my turkey sandwich piled with veggies very much! They have good iced tea too. The rest of the day... two small loads of laundry, updating receipts in the computer and sparking. I did go pick the dogs up about 4 and then it was time to make dinner.

Speaking of dinner. I decided to cut up the papaya that came in our Bountiful Basket on Saturday. I'd never had one in whole form before. Only enjoyed them blended up in smoothies. I for one was not crazy about the flavor on its own or the fact that it left my mouth feeling dry. I was definitely not loving having "fish eggs" or "baby goat droppings" coming out of the center! LOL Tim and Isaac ate the chopped up fruit just fine.

Tomorrow I will head to the gym in the morning and then get school finished with the kids. Only other thing on the schedule is that dinner must be earlier as Tim and Maegann have to be at church by 6 for practice on the Christmas musical. Isaac and I will come at 7 so I can head to bible study. Will be looking forward to Survivor in the evening too.

SODA CHALLENGE - Day 3

Another successful day! I did begin sporting a slight headache by afternoon and I am fairly certain it is from the change in my system from the caffeine and/or sugar. I just drank more water/iced tea and took an ibuprofen. It is better tonight. One major hurdle...I did not even want a Dr. Pepper at Subway. My first thought was "which iced tea to try."

Janet - you are doing awesome - papaya are really good when they are really ripe otherwise I find them kind of bland as well. I do nknow what you mean about a lazy day - they do make you feel a bit sluggish!

emoticon on the soda challenge. Drink lots of water and try herbal caffeine free teas. Hope you enjoyed bible study.
I found that the papayas here have a different taste than the ones I remember from home (Uganda). We used to get them ripe off the tree and eat them, they taste great. I think the ones in the supper markets have different taste because they harvested before they are ready in order to be shipped around the world.

I remember many years ago trying papaya. What I didn't know is that some people have peculiar body chemistry that makes papaya taste like vomit. I was one of them.

    Yay for no soda!

The girls had me buy a papaya this summer. We were not big fans. But definitely happy that they wanted to try something new.
