The day did not start out with icy roads after all, but when the alarm went off I just chose to sleep. I didn't get to sleep until about 2:30 between Maegann not feeling well (I think she had too much caffeine from a coffee she drank at church.) and one of the dogs whining at the gate. Finally put the dog in her crate for the night. Usually puts an end to the whining for quite some time.
As I woke up still tired I decided to call school off. Just didn't have the motivation to do it and then when I saw Isaac's attitude for the day I knew it was a good decision. We ran some errands instead and then this afternoon I took a long nap.
Had my monthly massage at 4 this afternoon and goodness my right shoulder is aching now. Usually it is my left that is worse. They say the right side is our "attack" side and the left is our "defense." I would have to guess I'm attacking the situation with Maegann and the mean girls. Can't think of anything else right now.
As soon as I got home we were off to Maegann's piano/voice recital. She made it through "Silent Night" by memory with a few mistakes and then sang "Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella." She was relieved to have this out of the way!
Tomorrow I will go to the gym no matter what. Well, if there is a ton of snow on the roads I might not, but pretty sure that won't be happening any time soon! We will then do some schoolwork and then I have nothing else on the schedule. Think I'll write in a nap though!
SODA CHALLENGE - DAY 16
Another day to check off as a success!
Blessed and happy and to be envied is the person of whose sin the Lord will take no account nor reckon it against him. (Romans 4:8)
Trust in Him. If you are keeping records of others' offenses against you, make the choice to mark them "paid in full." You can trust God not to charge you for your sins. If He is willing to forgive yours, you should be willing to forgive others.
