Started the day at the gym and eventually got school done with the kids. I went through the bill box while they were working as I needed to put a bank deposit together and ran across the coupon envelope. Found a couple for FREE kids meals at Red Robins so I decided to surprise them with lunch. We had a great time and I thoroughly enjoyed my southwest salad and strawberry lemonade.
While we were waiting the kids spied the snowman in the parking lot across the street tipped over. They then made up a new Christmas song called "Frosty the Drunken Snowman."
Once home I got things put together for dinner so I could take a nice long nap. The veggies looked so pretty as they were in the pan. Those "rainbow" carrots really add a nice touch!
Here's the veggie meatloaf before it is baked. This is a family favorite as it uses ground turkey and hamburger. Very yummy with mashed cauliflower and some fruit!
Tomorrow... school, piano lesson and bible study. Another quiet day!
SODA CHALLENGE - DAY 17
Another successful day! I ordered a strawberry lemonade at lunch and didn't even care that my daughter was having my "old" favorite Dr. Pepper. I'm thankful that I'm not thinking "What should I have instead of...."
