Today began at the gym. Watched a fun episode of "Property Brothers" while I walked. Then I headed out to pick up my Bountiful Basket and today it was overflowing! Couldn't believe how much fruit was included this time! Next stop was the grocerty store. After I got everything put away at home I paid bills and updated finances on the computer. Wasn't long and it was time to head out for my haircut. Since that...just hanging out at home.
I have been watching for the snow flurries that were predicted...no sight of them, but the wind finally stopped for the first time in three days about 4 p.m. So thankful! We still don't have any white on the ground, but here's the forecast:
Praying we have some white on the ground for Christmas Day!
Tomorrow we get to sleep in as we don't have Sunday School this week due to Christmas. Do have to get Maegann there by 10 for a sound check and run-through of her song that she is singing. She will also be doing the ribbons/group singing again along with an adult choir number. After worship the schedule is clear. I will probably try a new gluten-free chocolate chip cookie recipe though as we need cookies for Santa on Monday. Will bake the birthday cake for Jesus on Monday and Maegann will decorate.
SODA CHALLENGE - DAY 21
Another day to chalk up as a success!
External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world. (James 1:27)
Trust in Him. Are you ministering to Jesus? Jesus said ministering to others ministers to Him. Trust His life on earth to be an example of how you should live your life--going about doing good for others in need.
