BSG Challenge Blog Week 3, Exercises that work for me! Silver Belles

I have been thinking about the kind of exercise that I do every week and how it has helped me keep on working towards a healthier lifestyle. Some of this may sound a little strange but it works for me.
1. My number one exercise is Walking. I walk no less than a 1/2 a mile a day. Normally though it is a full mile walk every morning with my dog Katie. I average 6 to 7 miles a week. Walking has helped me build up my stamina, I can remember when just 2 years ago that walking a couple of blocks would have out of breath and needing a break half way through.
2. Number 2 exercise is Strenght Training. I try to do at least 10 minutes of strenght training every other day. It has helped tone some of my muscles. I need to work at getting ST in.
3. I also do yoga twice a week. It has helped me with my coordination and balance. It has also keeps me limber and more flexible.
Those are my most basic of exercise and they have helped me lose the 28lbs that I have lost since June of this year. I have other little things I do but these are my mainstay.
