Christmas Eve, 2012

Last night we were heading out to go look at a friends light display in Boise and I decided to go grab my cell phone at the last minute. The garage door wasn't up all the way, but I thought it was high enough for me to duck under. Well....I went on a slight run and as I ducked I hit the bottom of the garage door and down I went. I had quite a goose egg and just barely scratched the skin. I was lying there when the family surrounded me and after the shock I just started laughing and saying ouch at the same time. My head, right pinky toe and left wrist were hurting when I got up. Maegann got my phone and off we went. I took some ibuprofen on the return trip as we stopped at Maverik for hot chocolate. By bedtime I had more aches and this morning the same. Just thankful it wasn't worse and I didn't break anything!
Before I forget.... here's the link to the light & music display. The boy that sets this up and programs the lights to the music is almost 18 now. He began this when he was 14!
This morning I headed to the gym to use the weight machines with the hopes of working out the sore muscles that were created from my fall last night. My right foot through my hip are very sore and my left wrist and upper arm. Hoping the aches and pains don't hang around for too many days!
After I did a little cleaning I started on the food prep for dinner tonight and pizza dinner tomorrow. I also chopped up the cauliflower and broccoli to have around for snacks. While I was doing all this Maegann started getting Jesus' birthday cake ready to bake. Here she is decorating the finished product.
And here it is ready for tonight's party after the Christmas Eve service.
MERRY CHRISTMAS SPARK FRIENDS!
