From this hour I ordain myself loos'd of limits and imaginary lines
Going where I list, my own master total and absolute...
pausing, searching, receiving, contemplating...

Walt Whitman - Song of the Open Road

Each year I create a notebook filled with thoughts, pictures, quotes, prayers, studies, calendars, etc. On the cover is always my word for the year along with a saying and a few pictures or photos.

I thought long and hard - sat and waited for the inner whisper of what that word should be - tried on a few for size - but in the end "FREE" was all that I heard. So it was settled - the word had picked me...then... I started on my notebook and the ideas came so fast that I had trouble keeping up.

I am FREE - I am unlimited - I am free to rest, free to breathe, free to choose, free to start again, free to rejoice, free to be healthy, free to expect good, free to love myself, free to be me...etc.... FREE.

I am also FREE from - I am free from fear, free from ridiculous expectations, free from guilt, free from what others think of me, free from all the stuff that puts me in chains and keeps me bound to old ways and perceptions....etc....FREE

Call it the beginning of a breakthrough year ...or call it a year of breathing in a new start and breathing out what didn't work ...BUT...isn't that we do each day - start anew - fresh - refreshed - another chance to hone in on what matters and what should be left in the lost and found baggage department at the train station - Others are free to pick up what I left behind ...who knows ...maybe it will work for them...BUT...I am boarding a new train - The Freedom Train to a new birth- I want to evolve - to write a new exciting chapter filled with WOW and AWE and YOU DID IT moments.

My wish for you all is that you have many WOW and AWE and YOU DID IT moments in this New Year!!
