New Year's again!

I am in shock that 2012 is gone. It seems like a very short time ago, i was worrying over my son's graduation, fafsa paperwork and so forth. Now i am here, in January, and i am in shock. I have set a few resolutions. Like the rest of the free world, a new year is time for a new start. I am thankful that each new year brings the opportunity to start fresh and i am grateful for a Savior who also extends grace, to forgive and start over.
My new behaviors this year, simple changes. I am reducing my snacking at my desk. Sitting at a desk each day is dangerous for me. I seem to get hungry for no reason at all. So, i bought some apples, my plan is simple. I am eating my oatmeal for breakfast. I am eating one apple for mid morning snack, i am eating lunch, i am eating a bag of 100 calorie popcorn for afternoon snack. I am eating a reasonable dinner and having fruit or yogurt for snack in the evening. I have my large bottle of water at my desk. I am filling it up at the beginning of my day and drinking it completely by the end of the day. At 11 each day, my coworker Aileen and I are walking. I have to build up walking slowly, because my knees are so inflammed. But its going to be good, to move more is the answer to getting my knees better.
Next week i am out of town all week. i won't be able to snack all day. I will be moving all day. So i will do great. one day, one behavior. moving forward. emoticon
