Happy Valentines Day Sparkers! emoticon

I have been a bad girl, baaaaaaad girl. My punishment may just have to be stepping on the scale EVERY DAY for a week. Yes, that's a punishment in my book.

I have come to the realization that I cannot stop tracking just yet, I am not ready. It's not one thing that I can put my finger on? I just know that the past 10 days without tracking, my eating has not been good. Over calories, not as nutritious and maybe a little problem with portion control. So tracking begins again. I am afraid of the scale tomorrow, only because according to my pants, I will not like what I see. But I am a big girl and I will face that fear head on!!!

How does one stop tracking and stick with it??? I need answers here before I venture there. Suggestions?

Also have not been too good about running/walking. That changes too! Not today, because it is my long day, but tomorrow I don't work, so the pups are gonna get a good walk and or run! I am looking forward to it as it is suppose to be in the upper 60's/low 70's. Woohoo!

Good news on the job front...I picked up another class in the summer. Every little bit helps and I am so thankful that my work is willing to give me as much work as they can!

Peace out peeps!
p.s. if you eat chocolate today, keep it to a minimum, lol.

Maintenance? What is this thing called maintenance.

The only way I stay within range is if I eat the same basic things every single day. And I do that a lot. That way I eat to live, not live to eat.

Mwah-haha! Eat a minimum of chocolate. I'm actually trying a new approach this year eat EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE and then it will be done and gone. (Yeah, I'm not too optimistic about it either.)

If I don't track - I don't do well with my food. It just is. I don't have any idea how to stay in calorie without tracking.

The only way I have found to deal when I have been bad is to actually track each and every bad thing. I did this the other day and boy were the numbers off the charts. But seeing what I did, and knowing how my day was, I was able to really identify some triggers and move on!

Hi Vix! I've struggled with this too. I think it's still important to track what your maintenance goal is for quite some time, and continue to set fitness goals and use the tracker. I definitely regained a pound or five between November and January, and it was a lot of effort to get them back off.

Another thought is even if you stop tracking every calorie, still track your water and fruit/veggie servings. If you are meeting your positive goals, it helps you stay on track.
