March 3, 2013 - How am I going to do it?

I'm working at staying within my daily calorie allotment. I think I need to just say NO to those impulsive (and often nutritionally deficient, high calorie) snacks. To avoid the empty feeling that usually precedes an unscheduled snack I am going to concentrate on eating nutrient dense foods like fruits, vegetables and seed and nuts. And then I'm going to cross my fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes etc. lol

    Awesome, Laurie! Reaching for freggies instead of junk is the way to go. I like almonds too when I need something more satisfying. How long do you wait to eat between meals? Maybe planning a snack could help. That way you can look forward to it instead of strategize how to avoid legitimate hunger. Good luck!

    lol , that is a compulsion , try to find something else that you like to do instead of the snack. or find a healthy snack that you really like very much

    I have been eating more fruit and veggies lately. This does help keep me full longer. Keep up the good work.
